Ningbo Zhaobao Magnet Co., Ltd. was founded in 1998 and rooted in Ningbo, China’s Innovation Hub for Magnetic Materials. Recognized as a National Manufacturing Champion Demonstration Enterprise and guided by the core values of “Integrity, Innovation, Unity and Dedication”, the company has grown steadily for nearly 30 years and become a leading supplier of permanent magnets for rare earth permanent magnet motors in China.
ZHAOBAO MAGNET always takes technological innovation as the core driving force of its development. It has been awarded many honors including National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise and National Specialized, Sophisticated, Unique and Innovative Little Giant Enterprise. The company has built its own patent navigation and early-warning system, and developed a complete portfolio of invention patents around core technologies. For R&D, we cooperate in depth with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the team led by Academician Li Wei from CISRI, jointly building multiple high-level R&D platforms, including the Permanent Magnet Motor Magnet Engineering Center of the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, CAS, Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Enterprise Research Institute, Zhejiang Postdoctoral Workstation, Zhejiang Provincial Enterprise Engineering (Technology) Center and Zhejiang Provincial High-tech R&D Center. ZHAOBAO MAGNET is also an important shareholder of the Zhejiang Electric Drive Innovation Center and Zhejiang Magnetic Materials Innovation Center, serving as a key link in the industrial chain. We work with upstream and downstream partners to tackle cutting-edge technical and industrialization challenges. Supported by these platforms and industry-university-research collaborations, ZHAOBAO MAGNET keeps advancing technological iteration of rare earth magnetic materials and delivers higher-quality, more efficient products and services to customers.
The company operates three production bases in Zhenhai (Ningbo), Beilun (Ningbo) and Baotou (Inner Mongolia), with a professional team of more than 800 employees. Our signature product, permanent magnets with ultra-high coercivity and low temperature coefficient, has obtained the “Zhejiang Made” certification and been honored as a National Key New Product and the First Prize of Ningbo Science and Technology Progress Award. We have developed grades including N55SH, N54UH, N48EH, N45TH, N40AH and N38RH. These products are widely used in various high-efficiency energy-saving motors such as compressor motors, servo motors, linear motors, explosion-proof motors, high-speed motors, elevator motors, new energy vehicle motors, wind turbines, humanoid robots and low-altitude economy (UAVs). As a cost-effective supplier of permanent magnets for rare earth permanent magnet motors in China, the annual capacity of our high-performance magnetic materials reaches 11,000 metric tons.
Looking ahead, ZHAOBAO MAGNET will continue to deepen its focus on sintered NdFeB rare earth permanent magnet materials. We uphold the corporate vision of “Powering the Future with Magnetic Excellence” and pursue excellence. In 2025, the new factory was put into operation to build a leading new industrialized manufacturing base for high-performance permanent magnets in China. This project is an important driver for the company’s high-quality development, and will serve as the first ecological demonstration base of the Zhenhai magnetic material innovation source and the national advanced manufacturing magnetic material industrial cluster.
